Edward Artemyev about his work on the opera „Crime and punishment” based on Dostoyevsky's novel: “It will be poly-stylistic work in which are involved symphony orchestra, rock groups, folk orchestra, choruses.” Now the opera is in the sound recording stage. According to Artemyev, it is still necessary to make about 100 hours of recording. It is planned, that director Andrey Konchalovskiy will stage „Crime and punishment“ after its release. „It will be grandiose play in a genre of a mystery.”
